»A Different Shade of Blue« erscheint bei Pure Noise Records und ist die mit Spannung erwartete Fortsetzung des Debüts von 2016 (»Laugh Tracks«). Aufgenommen von Produzent Will Putney, wurde die neue LP langsamer und methodischer angegangen und sie verzichtete auf den bisherigen »live im Studio«-Aufnahmeansatz - um die Wucht noch durchdachter und noch gezielter zu kanalisieren.
Unter Putneys Anleitung kreierte die Band eins der innvovativsten Hardcore Alben des Jahres 2019. Während einige musikalische Einflüsse leicht zu erkennen sind - Pantera, Hatebreed, Obituary etwa - hat sich die stilistische Palette der Band sprunghaft erweitert und umfasst Gothenburg-Stil Death Metal (At the Gates, Early In Flames), Slam Metal (Devourment, Dying Fetus), blutrünstiger Thrash (Sodom, Kreator), Black Metal (Craft) und die verblüffende Komplexität von Hardcorebands wie Snapcase und Bloodlet.
