Die Elements Tour Box wurde ursprünglich als einmalige Edition für die 2014er King Crimson Tour konzipiert. Die große Nachfrage hat aus dieser Serie mit den nachfolgenden Ausgaben 2015, 16 und 17 eine wichtige Veröffentlichungsreihe mit großem Erfolg gemacht.
Wie bei den vorherigen Veröffentlichungen dieser Serie, wird die ganze Bandbreite King Crimsons auf 2 CDs mit Ausschnitten aus Proben, neuen Live-Aufnahmen, Elementen von Studio-Aufnahmen, kompletten Tracks, alternativen Takes und fertigen Aufnahmen aus der Zeit von 1969-2017 präsentiert. Viele der Aufnahmen sind zum ersten Mal auf CD zu finden.
Jedes King Crimson Line-Up ist auf den beiden CDs zu finden. Das begleitende Booklet enthält Texte von Sid Smith, der diese Zusammenstellung mit erarbeitet hat, historische Fotos, Infos zur aktuellen Tour und einige Band- und Musikerfotos der aktuellen Band.
