Mit der kalifornischen Sängerin Ke$ha kehrt nach mehr als eineinhalb Jahren Veröffentlichungspause eine der schillerndsten Popstars unserer Zeit mit neuen Releases zurück. »Warrior« ist der Titel des Follow-Up-Albums zum Debüt-Longplayer »Animal«, mit dem sich die 25-jährige im Jahr 2010 weltweit in die Top Ten der Albumcharts katapultierte (u.a. Und auch in den Single-Charts hinterließ Ke$ha innerhalb kürzester Zeit beachtliche Spuren: nachdem sie bereits als Hookline-Sängerin für Flo Ridas »Right Round« erstmals Charts-Höhenluft geschnuppert hatte (Platz eins in UK und USA), gelang ihr mit der ersten eigenen Single »TikTok« gleich ein Welthit (u.a. Platz eins in Deutschland und USA).
