Die polnischen KAT sind zeitlebens eine Institution in Sachen Heavy and Thrash Metal gewesen. Besonders das 85er Album »Metal And Hell« sollte traditionsbewussten Metallern noch im Gehör sein.
Nun kommt mit »The Last Convoy« ein Album, das sowohl aus eigenen Songs sowie aus Coverversionen besteht.
Zum ersten Mal hören wir auf dem Album die KAT Coversongs zum Beispiel von »Highway Star« von Deep Purple, sowie »Blackout« der Scorpions oder »You Shook Me All Night Long« von AC/DC. Auch akustische Tracks wie »Dark Hole - The Habitat Of Gods« zeigen eine ganz andere Seite von KAT.
