Die faszinierende Post-Metal-Band Junius freut sich mit ihrem neuen Album »Eternal Rituals For The Accretion Of Light« (ERAL) via Prosthetic Records ihre erste neue Musik seit drei Jahren zu veröffentlichen. Das Album markiert das Ende ihrer Konzept-Trilogie, die 2009 mit ihrem mitreißenden Album »The Martyrdom Of Catastrophist« begann. Die LP ist vom Rolling Stone als »ein perfekter Hybrid aus Neurosis und The Smiths« klassifiziert worden.
Anschließend wurde 2011 das Album »Reports From The Thresholds Of Death« veröffentlicht. Junius letzte Veröffentlichung war 2014 die von Kritikern gefeierte EP »Days Of The Fallen Sun«, welche von Pitchfork als »ihre bisher stärkste und sinnlichste Arbeit« gelobt wurde.
