To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Joni Mitchells drittes Album »Ladies Of The Canyon« zeigt ihre rasante musikalische Entwicklung; die ausgefeilten Arrangements des selbst produzierten Albums erweitern die Klangpalette der Singer-Songwriterin um Klavier, Klarinette, Saxophon und mehrstimmigen Gesang. Das Dutzend Originale enthält einige von Mitchells populärsten Kompositionen, darunter »Big Yellow Taxi«, »Woodstock« und »The Circle Game« - Songs, die vielleicht besser durch Coverversionen (von Janet Jackson, CSNY bzw. Tom Rush) bekannt sind, aber Jonis Versionen sind genauso einprägsam. 1970 veröffentlicht, war »Ladies Of The Canyon« weder Mitchells größter Verkaufsschlager noch ihr bekanntestes Album - aber es ist vielleicht das versteckte Juwel in einem der lohnendsten Kataloge des Rock.
