Eine tolle Nachricht für alle John-Lennon-Fans: Mit »Imagine – The Ultimate Collection« kommt 2018 ein Reissue des bekanntesten Soloalbums der Rock- und Poplegende.
»Imagine« ist das sechste Soloalbum Lennons und das dritte Solostudioalbum nach der Trennung der Beatles. Es erschien im Jahr 1971 und erreichte in Großbritannien und den USA Platz eins der Charts.
Zu den bekanntesten Singles gehören der Titeltrack »Imagine« sowie der Song »Jealous Guy«.
Neben der CD, einer Doppel-CD und der Doppel-LP gibt es »Imagine – The Ultimate Collection« auch als ganz besondere Limited-Super-Deluxe-Edition mit vier CDs und zwei Blu-ray Audios und insgesamt 135 Tracks.
Dazu gehören ein neuer, remasterter Stereomix und seltene Studioaufnahmen, Outtakes und Extras.
