Joey Cape (Lagwagon) lädt hin und wieder Musiker zu sich nach Hause ein, um in sieben Tagen ein Album aufzunehmen und komplett zu produzieren. Hintergrund ist der, dass in dem kurzen Zeitfenster keine Überproduktion möglich ist und etwas Rock'n'Roll-Spirit eingefangen wird. Ursprünglich nur als Digital-VÖ geplant, kommen jetzt einige »One Week Records« auf Vinyl auf den Markt. Insgesamt sind zehn Songs bei den Aufnahmesessions entstanden.
