Zum Robinson: The Journey Soundtrack sagt Kyd: »Wir haben versucht den Urwald zum Leben zu erwecken, indem wir analoge und akustische Instrumente als Elemente des Waldes und der Kreaturen die ihn bewohnen genutzt haben. Der Soundtrack klingt von der Instrumentierung minimaler als ich es eigentlich gewohnt bin, die jedoch perfekt zum VR-Erlebnis passt.«
