Das starke Debüt
Zwei Jahre nach ihrer EP »Something American« stellt Jade Bird 2019 endlich ihr mit Spannung erwartetes Debütalbum vor, das sie nach sich selbst benannte: »Jade Bird«.
Zwölf Songs hat die britische Singer-Songwriterin dafür aufgenommen. Die Single »Lottery« erreichte im letzten Jahr bereits Platz eins der US-Charts, die Single »Uh Huh« immerhin Platz drei.
Mit den Liedern »Love Has All Been Done Before« und »I Get No Joy« lieferte Jade Bird zudem bereits zwei weitere Höreindrücke ihres Erstlings.
Alle Stücke zeigen einen spannenden Mix aus Americana, Indie und Folkrock gepaart mit einer unverwechselbar-rauen Stimme. Und das lässt einiges vom neuen Album »Jade Bird« erwarten.
Neben der Standard-CD gibt es »Jade Bird« auch auf Vinyl, und zwar als klassisch-schwarze und als limitierte weiße LP.
