IRON ANGEL veröffentlichen am 4. Mai 2018 nach sage und schreibe 30 Jahren ihr neues Studioalbum »Hellbound«. Die Scheibe kommt mit zehn neuen Tracks plus einem neu aufgenommenen Demo-Track von 1982.
Das Werk der deutschen Speed-Metaller wird via Mighty Music in den Verkauf gehen. IRON ANGEL wurden 1980 in Hamburg gegründet und haben in den Achtzigern zwei Alben »Hellish Crossfire« und »Winds Of War« veröffentlicht.
Als Support für unter anderem KING DIAMOND hat die Combo sich einen Ruf als beeindruckende Live-Band erspielt und konnte dies 2016 auf dem Metal Magic Festival wieder unter Beweis stellen. Auch eine Südamerika-Tour absolvierte die Band in jüngsten Jahren mit großem Erfolg.
