Pünktlich zum 25. Jubiläum von Ice Cubes Erfolgsalbum »Death Certificate« erscheint nun die Neuauflage »Death Certificate (25th Anniversary Edition)«.

Das Original war das heiß erwartete zweite Studioalbum des amerikanischen Rappers und wurde im Spätsommer 1991 veröffentlicht. Noch vor Veröffentlichung wurde das Album bereits über eine Million Mal vorbestellt und erreichte in weniger als acht Wochen Platinstatus – und das in einer Zeit, in der an Streaming noch nicht zu denken war.

Der Longplayer enthält drei brandneue, bisher unveröffentlichte Tracks, die die Stimmung und Atmosphäre aus Los Angeles im Jahr 1991 / 1992 perfekt widerspiegeln und daran erinnern, wie einflussreich Ice Cube für das »Rap Movement« der Westküste war und bis heute noch ist.
