Mit 16 Songs ist das britische Trio wieder da und macht auf gewohnt hohem Niveau mit zeitlos klassischem UK-Punk, Streetpunk und Offbeat-Einlagen einfach da weiter, wo die letzten Akkorde von „Never Give Up On You“ (2017) verklungen waren. Die Band aus Darlington präsentiert Kracher wie „Louder Than Words“, „Pressure“, „Angry & Frustrated“ oder „Working Week“ und setzt die Traditionslinie der großen Szeneacts der späten 70er und frühen 80er fort. In Tempo und Tonlage mit genau dem richtigen Maß an Abwechslung agierend, stets hochmelodisch und stimmungsvoll in Szene gesetzt, verbinden GIMP FIST die Poesie der Straßen mit sozialkritischen Standpunkten. Es ist bemerkenswert, wie die drei Musiker seit 15 Jahren ihr hohes Niveau stets noch weiter steigern können. Mit „Cause It‘s a way of life... it‘s in my Blood“ liefern sie die Erklärung wohl selbst am besten. Traditions-Punrock-Tipp!
