Genau zehn Jahre nach seinem Debüt, wird es 2017 auch für Frank Turner endlich einmal Zeit für einen Karriererückblick. »Songbook« heißt sein etwas anderes Best-of-Album.Anders deshalb, weil der britische Singer-Songwriter darauf nur zur Hälfte die Höhepunkte seiner sechs Alben versammelt. Zudem hat sich Turner für »Songbook« insgesamt zehn seiner Klassiker noch einmal vorgenommen und sie neu interpretiert, arrangiert und aufgenommen.
Mit dabei sind Songs wie »Photosynthesis«, »The Way I Tend To Be«, »Long Live The Queen« und viele mehr. Das gesamte Tracklisting des neuen Albums finden Sie im Folgenden.
Ein weiteres Highlight von »Songbook« ist auch der brandneue Track »There She Is«, der bereits vorab als Vorgeschmack auf die Platte erschien.
