Diese Doppel-CD präsentiert Frank Sinatras Versionen vieler Songs, die Dylan in seinen drei Ausflügen in das Great American Songbook sang. Dabei wird er von unter anderem Nelson Riddle, Gordon Jenkins, Billy May, Alex Stordahl und Tommy Dorsey geleiteten Orchestern begleitet.
Dylan erzählte über ein Treffen mit Ol' Blue Eyes (Frank Sinatra): »Er war lustig, wir standen nachts draußen auf seiner Veranda und er sagte, ›Du und ich, Kumpel, wir haben blaue Augen und wir kommen von da oben.‹ Er deutete auf die Sterne. ›Die anderen Penner kommen von da unten.‹ Und ich erinnere mich daran, dass ich dachte, vielleicht hat er recht.«
