Die schwedische Death Metal Supergroup Firespawn kehrt mit ihrem nunmehr dritten, spektakulären Album »Abominate« zurück!
Bestehend aus Mitgliedern und Ex-Mitgliedern von Entombed A.D., Necrophobic, Unleashed, Dimmu Borgir und Dark Funeral, folgen Firespawn wie schon auf den beiden Vorgängeralben »Shadow Realms« (2015) und »The Reprobate« (2017) den Spuren der Großmeister ihres Genres, doch anders als diese lassen bei Tracks wie »Death and Damnation«, »Heathen Blood«, »The Great One« und »Blind Kingdom« auch reichlich Heavy Metal – sowohl Riffs als auch Soli – in ihren brutalen Stil einfließen.
