Emperor sind als einer der Begründer des symphonischen Black Metal bekannt geworden, für den Norwegen international bekannt ist.
Der gesamte Backkatalog der Band wurde von Turan Audio mit voller Unterstützung der Band neu gemastert, die Alben wurden in den berühmten Abbey Road Studios auf Half-Speed-Mastern neu geschnitten und alle Vinyl-Artworks wurden von »Dan Capp« Design und Illustration sorgfältig restauriert, um wunderschöne Vinyl-Neuauflagen zu erstellen.
