Bei ihren jüngsten musikalischen Ausflügen hatte sich die Isländerin Emiliana Torrini bereits mit dem belgischen Duo The Colorist Orchestra zusammengetan, dass eine Reihe von Songs aus ihrem Backkatalog neu komponierte, woraus 2018 das Live-Album »The Colorist & Emiliana Torrini« entstand.
Auch das neue Album »Racing The Storm« entstand gemeinsam mit Aarich Jespers und Kobe Proesmans, die beide auch Teil der belgischen Indie-Rock-Band Zita Swoon sind. Emiliana Torrini hat mit ihrem internationalen Hit »Jungle Drum« bereits eine beachtliche Karriere hinter sich.
