DRS & Dynamite präsentieren »Playing In The Dark«, das Debüt-Album ihres Kollaborationsprojekts, das auf Hospital Records veröffentlicht wurde.
Diese beiden Schlüsselfiguren, die für über zwei Jahrzehnte an der Spitze von Drum & Bass standen, haben sich nun mit einer Reihe von weltweit angesehenen Produzenten wie Calibre, Roni Size, Nu:Tone, S.P.Y, DJ Zinc, Chimpo und DJ Marky zusammengeschlossen, um 16-Spur-Aufnahmen zu produzieren. Nach dem Erfolg der ersten Single »Fix It All (feat. London Elektricity)«, nimmt »Playing in the Dark« einen mit auf eine lyrische Reise.
DRS stieß zum ersten Mal während seiner Zeit bei Roni Size / Reprazent auf Dynamite, die Gewinner des Mercury Prize »Album of The Year« von 1997. »Playing In The Dark« zollt Respekt an diese Zusammenarbeit und Kombinationen von Stilen, die deutlich im Sound von DRS und Dynamite zu hören sind.
