Bastille präsentieren ihr drittes Studioalbum »Doom Days«. Neben gewohnten sowie neuen Soundeinflüssen ist ihr drittes Werk als Konzeptalbum zu verstehen: Die Song Titel spiegeln eine bunte Partynacht wider, in der es vor allem um die Bedeutung von Eskapismus, Hoffnung und die Kostbarkeit enger Freundschaften geht. Das turbulente Gefühlchaos dieser Nacht ist voll von Euphorie, Unbedachtheit und einer kleinen Portion Wahnsinn.
Für ihre ersten beiden Alben erhielt die vierköpfige britische Band rund um Frontsänger Daniel »Dan« Campbell Smith zahlreiche Gold- und Platinauszeichnungen. Mit ihren Hit-Singles »Pompeii« und »Things We Lost In The Fire« stürmte die damalige Newcomerband sämtliche Charts.
