The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Diana Ross begann nach den Jahren mit den Supremes im Jahr 1970 ihre Solokarriere bei Motown Records und sollte die erfolgreichste Soulmusikerin der 70er Jahre werden. Diese Zusammenstellung enthält die erfolgreichsten Titel von 1970 bis 1981 und auch das Duett Endless Love mit Lionel Ritchie. Klanglich weit besser, als die Nummern der 70er Jahre würden vermuten lassen.
Hongkong ist ein ganz besonderer Markt für audiophile Musikliebhaber. Das hat auch die dortige Zweigstelle von Universal Music erkannt und lässt daher einige populäre Titel von Ball Au in der Hongkonger »Sound Max Studios« neu abmischen. Das Mastering hat hierbei ganz klar den audiophilen Kunden im Blick und unterscheidet sich oftmals sehr wohltuend von früheren Produktionen. Selbstverständlich profitieren sowohl die PCM-Spur als auch die DSD-Spur vom verbesserten Klang. Die Hybrid-SACDs selbst werden in Japan gefertigt.
