Violator | The 12" Singles, ein Deluxe-Box-Set für Sammler, enthält zehn 12"-Vinyl-Platten, auf denen die Singles - Personal Jesus, Enjoy The Silence, Policy Of Truth, World In My Eyes - und wesentliche B-Seiten und Mixe aus der Zeit des Wendepunkt-Albums Violator präsentiert werden.
Seit ihren frühesten Tagen als Band hat sich Depeche Mode für 12-Zoll-Vinyl eingesetzt und dabei die einzigartige Kraft und die Innovationsmöglichkeiten des Formats genutzt. Die 12-Zoll-Single ermöglichte es der Band, neue klangliche Möglichkeiten zu erkunden. Gleichzeitig gab die tastbare substanzielle Schönheit der Verpackung Depeche Mode den Raum, um eine raffinierte und beeindruckende visuelle Ästhetik zu entwickeln. Jedes Box-Set der Serie enthält die Singles aus jedem Depeche Mode-Album auf 12-Zoll-Vinyl mit starker Audioqualität, da die LPs von den Originalbändern gemastert wurden. Das Artwork jedes Box-Sets ist von der jeweiligen Ikonographie der Originalveröffentlichungen inspiriert, während die Vinylhüllen selbst das Original-Single-Artwork zeigen.

Violator | The 12" Singles, a collector's edition deluxe box set, contains ten 12" vinyl discs showcasing the singles--Personal Jesus, Enjoy The Silence, Policy Of Truth, World In My Eyes--and key B-sides and mixes contemporaneous to Depeche Mode's watershed Violator album.
From their earliest days as a band, Depeche Mode have championed 12" vinyl, embracing the singular power of the format and the avenues of innovation the format opened up. The 12" single allowed the band to explore new sonic possibilities while the tactile physical beauty of the packaging gave Depeche Mode room to develop a sophisticated and commanding visual aesthetic. Depeche Mode used their singles discography as a means of offering left field remixes and other delights for their fans.
Violator extended Depeche Mode's increasingly mind-blowing run of 12" singles (with a virtually unprecedented number of remixes for »Personal Jesus« alone). Violator introduced fans to some of the most enduring songs in the DM catalog including »Enjoy The Silence«, »Policy Of Truth« and »World In My Eyes«.
Violator | The 12" Singles contains the original and special edition versions of each single, including the etched vinyl version of »Enjoy The Silence«, the blue sealed edition of »World In My Eyes« plus a bonus promo 12" of »World In My Eyes« which features exclusive rarities.
Sony Music Entertainment released the first two box sets in the Depeche Mode 12" singles series--Speak & Spell | The Singles and A Broken Frame | The Singles--in August 2018 with the second batch--Construction Time Again | The 12" Singles and Some Great Reward | The 12" Singles--arriving in December 2018. SME released Depeche Mode's Black Celebration | The 12" Singles and Music For The Masses | The 12" Singles on 31 May 2019.
Each box set in the series contains the singles from each Depeche Mode album on audiophile-quality 12" vinyl, with audio mastered from the original tapes. The artwork for the exterior of each of the box sets draws on iconography inspired by the original releases, while the vinyl sleeves themselves feature the original single artwork.
The Depeche Mode 12" Singles Series will continue over the coming years, with plans to release boxes containing the singles from each of the band's albums in similar deluxe audiophile-grade collector's editions.
