13 Songs haben Deep Purple dafür in Nashville aufgenommen. Unterstützung beim Songwriting und bei der Produktion bekamen Ian Gillan und Co. dabei vom Kanadier Bob Ezrin.
»Whoosh!« gibt es als limitierte CD plus DVD, auf der auch das einstündige Video »Roger Glover And Bob Ezrin In Conversation« und der bislang unveröffentlichte Auftritt der Band auf dem Hellfest 2017 enthalten sind.
Auch nach mehr als 50 Jahren gelingt es Deep Purple 2020, ihren Rocklegendenstatus weiter zu untermauern: mit ihrem neuen Album »Whoosh!«.
