Deathrows Album »Raging Steel« wurde ursprünglich 1987 veröffentlicht und nahm den Faden seines Vorgängers »Riders Of Doom« auf. Der Albumtitel dient gleichzeitig als Mission Statement für diese zehn Songs kompromisslosen »Teutonic Thrash Metal«. Mit einer saubereren Produktion und einer Entwicklung im Songwriting, konnte »Raging Steel« seine Fangemeinde sprunghaft erweitern, als sie sich in der Welle der globalen Thrash-Bewegung verfingen, die in den späten 80er Jahren die Metal-Szene dominierte. »Raging Steel« wird oft als die beste Stunde der Band betrachtet und von Fans des alten und neuen Genres verehrt, obwohl sie seit dreißig Jahren nicht mehr auf dem Markt sind.
