Downes Braide Association ist ein Projekt von Geoff Downes und Chris Braide. Der Keyboarder Geoff Downes (The Buggles, ASIA und YES) war an der Entstehung von Hits wie »Video Killed The Radio Star«, »Heat Of The Moment« oder »Only Time Will Tell« beteiligt.
Der britische Sänger, Songwriter und Produzent Chris Braide lebt und arbeitet mittlerweile in Los Angeles. Chris Braide schrieb undproduzierte Songs für David Guetta, Lana Del Rey, Sia Furler, Christina Aguilera oder Yuna, und er wurde bereits mit dem Ivor Novello Award, ASCAP und Billboard Award ausgezeichnet.
»Halcyon Hymns« ist das brandneue und mittlerweile vierte Studioalbum des ProgRock-Duos. Marc Almond (Soft Cell) und David Longdon (Big Big Train) geben sich als Gastmusiker die Ehre. Das Artwork stammt vom legendären Roger Dean. Die DVD enthält drei Musik-Videos.
