Der erst junge Songwriter aus der kanadischen Prärie, genauer Saskatchewan, beeindruckt mit rauem Bariton und begleitet sich mit ausdrucksstark gespielter Folk & Bluegrass-Gitarre oder Banjo-Pickings und einer Bassdrum, die er mit dem hinteren Schuhabsatz spielt. Seine Vorbilder sind Hank Williams, Robert Johnson, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Townes Van Zandt und The Band, auch ein William Elliot Whitmore könnte hier Pate gestanden haben. Seine erste EP "Imaginary Appalachian" erschien 2015.
Sein Live-Publikum lässt er ob seiner reif wirkender Stimme und des passenden Songwritings sprachlos beeindruckt zurück. Sein Debutalbum wurde produziert von Dave Cobb und enthält neben eigenen Stücken auch "Snake Mountain Blues" von Townes Van Zandt)
