Am 16. August 2019 veröffentlichen Carnival Youth ihr neues Album »Good Luck«! Es wurde letzten Sommer im brasilianischen São Paulo aufgenommen und die Band konnte ihre musikalischen Idole für die Zusammenarbeit gewinnen: Nicolas Vernhes saß am Mischpult, Grammy-Gewinner für die The War On Drugs-Produktion zum Album »A Deeper Understanding«.
Gemastert wurde »Good Luck« von Greg Calbi, der schon mit Bands wie The National und Arcade Fire arbeitete. Mit intelligentem Arrangement und feinem Gespür für Groove und Sounds unterstreichen sie auf »Good Luck« die nicht aufzuhaltende Entwicklung der noch immer jungen Band.
Die Carnival Youth-DNA klingt im Jahr 2019 noch immer hittig, zudem mutig, reif und ansteckend. Die Letten klingen auf »Good Luck« vielseitiger als bisher!
