Die US-amerikanische Rock-Band Candlebox aus Seattle schaffte mit der Veröffentlichung ihres self titled Debüt-Albums im Juli 1993 sofort den Durchbruch. Vierfach von der RIAA mit Platin ausgezeichnet, verkaufte es sich mehr als 4 Millionen Mal und erreichte Platz 7 in den Billboard Album-Charts. Das Album enthält die Singles »Change«, »You«, »Far Behind« und »Cover Me«. Die enorme Erfolgskombination von Radio, Konzerten und Fernsehen brachte Candlebox einen Platz auf der Hauptbühne von Woodstock '94 ein und verhalf der Band zu einem Platz an der Spitze der Post-Grunge-Szene der 90er. Die Vinyl-Edition von Candlebox enthält die 11 Original-Album-Tracks (inkl. »Blossom«) auf 2 LPs als schwarzes 180g Vinyl erhältlich.
