Neues Team bringt Veränderung
Bullet For My Valentine feiern 2018 ihren sage und schreibe 20. Bandgeburtstag. Und wie ginge das besser als mit einem brandneuen Album: »Gravity« ist die sechste Studioplatte, der Nachfolger ihres Nummer-eins-Albums »Venom« aus dem Jahr 2015.
Nachdem bereits vor drei Jahren Jamie Mathias als Bassist und Backgroundsänger zur Band stieß, folgte 2017 ein weiterer Neuzugang: Jason Bowld ersetzt Michael Thomas am Schlagzeug. Matthew Tuck (Gesang, Gitarre) und Michael Paget (Gitarre, Backgroundgesang) komplettieren wie gehabt das Lineup.
Mit dem Personalwechsel hat sich die britische Metalcore-Combo auch musikalisch weiterentwickelt. Zu den gewohnt harten Metalriffs gesellen sich auf »Gravity« Synthesizer, die regelrecht atmosphärische Klanglandschaften erzeugen.
Diese Entwicklung wirkt aber keineswegs fremd. Im Gegenteil: Sie macht Bullet For My Valentine einmal mehr zu einer der innovativsten und spannendsten Bands ihres Genres. Den Beweis könnt ihr euch jetzt mit »Gravity« nach Hause holen.
