Der amerikanische Blues-Gitarrist Buddy Guy veröffentlichte 1993 sein achtes Studio-Album „Feels Like Rain“. Es wurde von John Porter produziert, der zuvor mit The Smiths, Bryan Ferry und Killing Joke gearbeitet hatte.
Auf dem Album finden sich zudem Guys Interpretationen von Songs, die von John Hiatt, John Fogerty, James Brown, Ray Charles und Guys häufigem Kollaborateur Junior Wells geschrieben wurden.
Er arbeitete auch mit einigen bekannten Musikern zusammen: John Mayall, Bonnie Raitt, Paul Rodgers und Travis Tritt sind alle auf diesem Album zu hören.
