Der Indierock-Klassiker auf Platte
Genau 15 Jahre nach der ersten Veröffentlichung kehren Art Brut 2020 mit einer Vinyl-Neuauflage ihres bahnbrechenden Debütalbums »Bang, Bang, Rock & Roll« zurück.
»Bang, Bang, Rock & Roll« erschien ursprünglich am 30. Mai 2005. Als Singles erschienen die Songs »Formed A Band«, »Modern Art/My Little Brother«, »Emily Kane« und »Good Weekend«.
Für das Reissue wurden alle Titel neu gemastert. Als besonderes Highlight wartet der bislang unveröffentlichte Track »Subliminal Desire For Adventure«. Mit der Download-Karte bekommt man zudem Zugriff auf weitere unveröffentlichte »Brutlegs« und B-Seiten.
Die Platte kommt im Gatefold-Cover mit einem besonderen Vorwort von Ezra Furman sowie einer Auswahl von Fotos und Erinnerungen aus der kürzlich gegründeten Gesellschaft der »Art Brut Historians«, ein loses Kollektiv von Fans und Freunden, die von Anfang an dabei waren.
