Bachman-Turner Overdrive I & II
The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Der kanadische Gitarrist und Sänger Randy Bachman verließ 1970 seine Band The Guess Who auf dem Höhepunkt ihres Erfolgs. Er experimentierte mit mehreren Besetzungen, ehe 1973 mit seinen Brüdern Rob (Schlagzeug) und Tim (Gitarre) sowie dem Bassisten C. F. »Fred« Turner die Band Bachman-Turner Overdrive die Bühne betrat und ihre erste Schallplatte veröffentlichte.
Mit dem noch im selben Jahr aufgenommenen und Anfang 1974 veröffentlichten Album »Bachman-Turner Overdrive II« und dem Hit »Takin’ Care Of Business« stellte sich schon bald internationaler Erfolg ein. Später in diesem Jahr erschien das dritte Album »Not Fragile« mit »You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet«, das die Band unsterblich machen sollte.
