Gegründet 1981, hat die schwedische Band Axewitch 3 Alben und eine EP in den 80er aufgenommen. Nach der Trennung 1987, tat man sich 2007 wieder für einige Live Gigs zusammen. »Out Of The Ashes Into The Fire« ist das erste neue Album
nach 36 Jahren.
Anders Wallentoft (vocals), Magnus Jarl (guitar), Mikael Johansson(guitar) Mats Johansson (drums) stamen noch vom Original Line-Up, Björn Hernborg ist der neue Bassist.
Der Sound ist aufgrund des technischen Fortschrittes mehr heavy, mit mehr Power, aber für alle TruMetal und 80er Metal Fans ist das hier genau das Richtige.
