Starring Rosi ist das 5. Album von ASH RA TEMPEL. Obwohl es 1973 im selben Jahr wie sein Vorgänger Join Inn erschien, ist es das mit Abstand zugänglichste Ash Ra Tempel-Album.
Bis auf das Schlagzeug (hinter dem Harald Großkopf saß) spielte Manuel Göttsching alle Instrumente selbst - heraus gekommen ist ein atmendes, entspanntes, teilweise gar an Westcoast-Klänge gemahnendes Album, das schon die Richtung vorzeichnete in die Manuel Göttsching in Zukunft gehen würde. Vokalistisches i-Tüpfelchen sind die charmanten Rezitation und Gesänge von Rosi Müller.
Das Album wurde komplett von Manuel Göttsching remastered und ist endlich in superber Qualität verfügbar.
