Apocalypticas neues Album »Worlds Collide« wurde vom Rammstein Tüftler Jacob Hellner produziert. Die Arbeit zum Album begann im August 2006. Seitdem verdichteten sich die 40 Songs, die die Band für das Projekt geschrieben hatte, zu einem knappen und makellosen Dutzend, dass Kollaborationen mit dem Stone Sour / Slipknot Frontmann Corey Taylor, Lacuna Coils großartige Cristina Scabbia, den 3 Days Grace Sänger Adam Gontier und wieder einmal ihren langjährigen Freund und Mitstreiter Dave Lombardo vereint.
