Die ultimative After The Fire-Kollektion „Bright Lights“ enthält alle fünf Alben der Band sowie Demos, B-Seiten und Live-Tracks. Zwölf Aufnahmen erscheinen hier erstmals auf CD, 14 sind völlig unveröffentlicht.
Das Projekt wurde von Gründungsmitglied Peter Banks betreut, der zusammen mit den Mitgliedern Andy Piercy und John Russell exklusiv für die Covernotes interviewt wurde und zudem sein Fotoarchiv mit einer Fülle seltener Bilder geöffnet hat.
CD 1 enthält das Debütalbum der Band „Signs Of Change“ sowie Bonustracks.
CD 2 enthält drei frühe, bisher unveröffentlichte Demos sowie 13 bisher unveröffentlichte Demos, die im Vorfeld von „Laser Love“ aufgenommen wurden.
CD 3 enthält „Laser Love“ mit der Hit-Single „One Rule For You“ sowie seltenen Single-Edits, B-Seiten und Live-Tracks.
CD 4 enthält „80-f“ sowie neun bisher unveröffentlichte CD-Aufnahmen, darunter seltene B-Seiten und sieben Titel aus der Originalversion von „80-F“.
CD 5 enthält „Batteries Not Included“ und zwei Bonustitel.
CD 6 enthält „AT2F“, einen bisher unveröffentlichten CD-Titel, einen völlig unveröffentlichten Titel sowie eine seltene erweiterte Version des Bandhits „Der Kommissar“.
