»The Silent Force Tour« wurde ursprünglich als Doppel-DVD im Jahr 2005 veröffentlicht, bestehend aus dem kompletten Konzert, das Within Temptation am 22. Juli 2005 im Java-Eiland in Amsterdam gaben. Dieses Konzert war Teil der Tour zur Unterstützung ihres Albums »The Silent Force«. »The Silent Force« war das dritte Studioalbum der niederländischen Symphonic-Metal-Band Within Temptation. Das Album erreichte Platz 1 der niederländischen Albumcharts und wurde in den Niederlanden, Belgien und Finnland bereits eine Woche nach Veröffentlichung mit Gold ausgezeichnet. Später erreichte das Album auch Platinstatus in Deutschland und Doppelplatin in den Niederlanden.
»The Silent Force Tour« beinhaltet das Konzert von 2005 im Java-eiland, Amsterdam und kommt als Black Vinyl in einer Gatefold-Hülle und enthält ein 8-seitiges Booklet.
Within Temptation blicken mit einer fulminanten Live-DVD und einer Special-DVD nebst Bonus-Live CD auf das zurück, was sie seit dem für den internationalen Durchbruch verantwortlichen »Mother Earth«-Album erreicht haben, und das ist eine ganze Menge.
