Wilko Johnson trat 2009 als zentrale Figur im Dr. Feelgood Film »Oil City Confidential« des Filmemachers Julian Temple (»The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle«, »Absolute Beginners«, »Glastonbury«, »Joe Strummer: The Future Is Unwritten« etc.) auf.
Das Studioalbum »Barbed Wire Blues« von 1989 enthält zehn Wilko Johnson Originale und wird 2023 wiederveröffentlicht.
