Darauf haben Turbonegro-Fans gewartet: »Ass Cobra«, das dritte Album der norwegischen Punk’n’Roller, wird 2019 neu aufgelegt, und zwar auf CD und als LP.
»Ass Cobra« erschien ursprünglich 1996. Der Albumtitel ist ein Verweis auf den »AC Cobra«-Sportwagen, das Albumcover auf den Beach-Boys-Klassiker »Pet Sounds«.
Musikalisch bewegt sich die Platte zwischen Punk- und Glam-Rock und hat heute längst Kultstatus.
