Schon das Debutalbum war ein richtiger Knaller
Wenn ein Debutalbum gleich Platin Status erreicht, dann spricht das für die unglaubliche Qualität des Albums. Was Toto hier abgeliefert haben ist wirklich ein durchgängig starkes Album und sie schafften sofort in den Sprund der angesehensten Küster des Adult-oriented Rock (AOR). Ebenfalls wurde die Band für den Grammy als 'Bester Newcomer' nominiert.

Beginnend mit dem Instrumentalstück "Child's Anthem ", welches sehr eindringlich ist, über das wirklich starke "I'll Supply The Love" und "Georgy Porgy " kommt langsam der erste ganz große Höhepunkt der CD "Girl Goodbye" das wirklich eine klasse Hymne ist. Anschließend folgen noch zwei gute Titel bevor mit "Hold the line" einer der ganz großen Hits von Toto am Start ist. "Hold the line" ist einer der eingängigste Titel die Toto abgeliefert hat. Einer der ganz großen Übertitel. Zum Abschluß dann noch "Angela" ein wunderbarer Titel der für mich zu den großen Highlights von Toto überhaupt zählt.

Von 10 Titel sind sechs Stück absolut genial und die anderen vier Titel sind ebenfalls sehr gut, allerdings nicht dieses unglaublich hohe Niveau der anderen Titel. Insgesamt ist das Album sehr stimmig und es gibt keine Ausreiser nach unter, sondern nur nach oben.
