Fast 30 Jahre nach der Veröffentlichung der Original-Box auf Vinyl jetzt wieder auf CD erhältlich – mit einer Fülle an zusätzlichem Material: Unlängst entdeckte Musik von bekannten Künstlern, sowie unglaubliche Raritäten wie z. B. ein von Sam Phillips gesprochener Werbespot, in dem er einen westafrikanischen Kräuterhändler anpreist, der bald darauf wegen Verkauf von dubiosen Arzneien im Gefängnis landete. Von Sam Phillips produzierte Aufnahmen, die auf Chess, RPM, Trumpet und anderen Labels veröffentlicht wurden und 1983 für die LP-Box nicht verfügbar waren – jetzt sind sie enthalten. Musikforscher Steve LaVere ermöglicht es der Allgemeinheit, endlich die Sun-Aufnahmen zu hören, die er Ende der 60er Jahre gesammelt hatte – und die damit verbundenen Fotos zu sehen. Praktisch die gesamte Bluesforscher-Gemeinschaft kam zusammen, um dieses einzigartige
