T-Bone Walker was one of the first musicians to play electric guitar on record, and was a major player at the dawn of the R&B era, charting with the classic "Call It Stormy Monday" in 1948 and building an enviable reputation as a master blues musician and singer over four decades until his death in 1974.
Following a successful tour of Europe with the American Folk Blues Festival in 1962, T-Bone returned to France in the late 1960's to record LPs for Black & Blue and Polydor, and from the latter label Good Feelin' won a coveted Grammy Award in 1970 as 'Best Ethnic or Traditional Recording'. Shout Records are proud to present another chance to hear the fine music in this landmark album, which features the sax of 'Soul Makossa' hit-maker Manu Dibango and the cream of local session men, the voice and guita
