Am 19. Oktober ist es soweit - Rita Oras furioses Debütalbum "ORA" erscheint dann endlich auch in Deutschland. Die im Kosovo geborene Londonerin hat in den vergangenen Monaten einen weltweiten Hype entfacht nachdem Jay-Z sie für sein Roc Nation Label unter Vertrag genommen hatte. Die Liste derjenigen, die Schlange standen, um mit ihr zu arbeiten, liest sich wie das Preisträger-Verzeichnis einer Award Show - von Underground-Helden bis hin zu Mainstream-Größen. So finden sich in den Albumcredits neben Drake & Will. I.Am u. a. auch Diplo, Stargate und The Dream.
"Ich kann gar nicht glauben, dass diese ganzen Leute mir überhaupt die Chance gegeben haben, mit ihnen zu arbeiten", sagt sie, "ganz zu schweigen davon, wie sehr sie sich in mein Album eingebracht haben".
Nach drei UK-Nummer-Eins-Hits in Folge gelang dem Shootingstar in Großbritannien nun auch mit ihrem Debütalbum der Null-auf-eins-Durchmarsch.
