Nachdem Nick Oliveri die Band verlassen musste, wirkten erstmals Troy Van Leeuwen und Joey Castillo an dem Album mit. Zudem warten auf der Platte Gastauftritte von Jack Black, Billy Gibbons von ZZ Top, Shirley Manson von Garbage und Jesse Hughes von den Eagles Of Death Metal.

»Lullabies To Paralyze« erreichte im UK Platz vier der Charts, in den USA Platz fünf und in Deutschland Platz acht. Zu den bekanntesten Stücken gehören die Singles »Little Sister« und »In My Head«.
