Paddy McAloons aktuelles Album ist kein »normales« Album. Es stammt vielmehr aus dem Jahr 1992 / 1993 und galt lange Zeit als verschollen. Es war Keith Armstrong, der Chef des Prefab-Sprout-Hauslabels Kitchenware aus Newcastle, der die Aufnahmen im letzten Jahr herauskramte und befand, dass wunderschöne Songs wie »Let There Be Music« einfach nur zeitlos herangereift waren. »Und so setzte ich mich noch einmal an diese Demos. Ich habe sie in einer Art Postproduktion überarbeitet. Ohne Gastmusiker und ohne 26-köpfiges Orchester. Ich bin ein großer Freund von Studio-Software. So gesehen ist ›Let’s Change The World With Music‹ ein Techno-Album. Auch wenn man das natürlich in keiner Weise heraushört«, sagt McAloon verschmitzt.
