Redet man über Chicago Blues, muss man zwangsläufig den Namen Howlin' Wolf nennen. Wolf war eine Ikone, ein einzigartiger Künstler, für Omar Dykes eine große Inspiration, ein Vorbild. Er verstand Songs anderer Interpreten zu seinen eigenen zu machen wie kein anderer.
Die aus Austin, Texas stammenden Omar and The Howlers, haben sich nun vierzehn unsterbliche Klassiker zur Brust genommen und steuern noch einen von Howlin' Wolf inspirierten Song bei.
