2019 kommt die Filmmusik zum Schwarz-Weiß-Western »Dead Man« als CD und Doppel-LP.

»Dead Man« von Jim Jarmusch erschien ursprünglich bereits 1995. In den Hauptrollen: Gary Farmer und Johnny Depp.

Für den Soundtrack zeichnete kein Geringerer als Neil Young verantwortlich. Er sah sich den geschnittenen Film im Studio an und improvisierte zu den Szenen. Er verwendete dabei eine elektrische und eine akustische Gitarre, Piano und Orgel.

Die »Dead Man«-Filmmusik umfasst insgesamt 13 Tracks, darunter Instrumentalstücke und ein von Johnny Depp vorgetragenes Gedicht von William Blake.
