German psychedelic rock band. "With "Satya", their second album, My Sleeping Karma deliver a consistent development of their very own sound. The basic motivation of the band, to melt relaxation and euphoria in an unique way, is this time being explored with lots of experiments, many lovely details and adept melodies. Representative of all conflicts and human rights violations, the Tibet conflict, which escalated during the recordings for this album, is the main theme of "Satya". And so there lies a deeper meaning behind the song titles, the melodies and the partial vocals by Katrin Wiessler. With this album, My Sleeping Karma also want to spread a little a bit of hope and comfort - while keeping the slightly melancholic sadness and great wideness of their songs, which are so dearly loved by their fans."
