"My Dinosaur Life" ist das vierte Studioalbum der amerikanischen Rockband Motion City Soundtrack. Produziert von Mark Hoppus (Bassist von Blink-182), wurde das Album am 19. Januar 2010 von Columbia Records veröffentlicht. Das Thema des Albums dreht sich hauptsächlich um das Älterwerden; die von Pierre geschriebenen Texte behandeln Themen wie Beziehungen, Drogenmissbrauch und Aufschieberitis. Musikalisch behält das Album den Sound der Band bei, wobei der Moog-Synthesizer weniger im Vordergrund steht. Der Schlagzeuger Tony Thaxton brach sich vor den Aufnahmen den Arm, was die Band dazu veranlasste, bei frühen Aufnahmen eine Drum Machine zu verwenden. Die Musik des Albums ist von Post-Hardcore-Musik inspiriert; Pierre nannte Archers of Loaf, Fugazi und Dinosaur Jr. als Inspirationen für den Sound des Albums. Ihre einzige Veröffentlichung bei einem Major-Label, "My Dinosaur Life", wurde von der Musikkritik gut aufgenommen. Das Album erreichte in den USA mit Platz 15 in den Billboard 200 ihre höchste Position.
