Es ist schlank, laut und voller Attitüde - das Album, das die Lücke zwischen den Muskeln von Led Zeppelin und dem Blitzlicht von Van Halen schloss. Eddie Van Halen selbst bezeichnete »Montrose« als eine Blaupause für das, was danach kommen sollte.
